Most athletes only dream of being named an All-American.
So why break precedent? Macari capped his collegiate career with again being named a first-team All-American.
鈥淚 know it鈥檚 an individual award, but I had a lot of good players around me,鈥 he said. 鈥淭hat made me a better player.鈥
Macari led the Wolves with 70 points last season, netting 25 goals and 45 assists. He finished his UM-Dearborn career with 143 goals and 169 assists.
And to add to his accolades, he also was named an Academic All-American for his excellence in the classroom.
